• KS2 children - Looking for fun on Thursday evening?
  Join Active Thursday! Parents can pick up a registration form when they drop off - the times are 5.30pm to 7.30pm each Thursday at Silver Springs Academy. Your child must be registered to attend.
• Welcome back to all pupils and parents
  We have had a great start to the Autumn Term! New for this year: I am very proud to be Headteacher of Arlies and am looking forward to working with pupils and parents this year. Our new Deputy Headteacher is Miss Heaton. Kind Regards Mrs Hughes
• Spring 1 Newsletter
  The Newsletter is going home today with your child - please read! You can also download or view this on the website.
• Walking Bus
  The walking school buses will run every Tuesday and Thursday at 8.30am. The service will be free. Children from Reception through to Year 6 are invited to join the walking bus. Visit the 'Activities' page to download a slip if you wish your child to join!
• Sports Council
  The new Sports Council met on Friday and have responded to your suggestions! Keep checking the sports page for their developments! Keep posting those suggestions in the box next to the staff room!
• Active Kids Vouchers
  We are now collecting Sainsbury's Active Kids vouchers. Please drop them in the box outside the staffroom. https://activekids.sainsburys.co.uk/
• Newsetter
  The December newsletter has been sent home with your child but you can also view it on the 'Newsletters' page by clicking the arrow saying 'newsletters' on this page!
• Operation Encompass.
  Between November 2016 and February 2017 our school is taking part in a pilot of a new project that will run jointly between Stalybridge schools and Greater Manchester Police. This project is called Operation Encompass. Click to link above to read more.
